Chris Gravett

I am a freelance photographer specialising in documentary, social documentary and live music photography. In 2015 I graduated as a mature student from the University of Westminster with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Photography with First Class Honours. My practice encompasses a broad range of both short and long term documentary projects.

Current projects

Inspired by the UK's EU Referendum result this project will document the make up of the EU, pre Article 50 implementation whilst there is still freedom of movement for Uk citizens. I visited and photographed a town in each of the 28 EU States between August 2016 and August 2017. If you would like to know more and/or consider opportunities for collaboration please contact me

GR;T. Growing Resilience In Teens

Providing still photography for a collaborative project looking to counter the impact of social media on vulnerable teens, in particular the massive rise in self harming. The project involves a programme to explore filling the void left by social media addiction thereby restoring self esteem and personal belief. This along with a documentary raising awareness of the problem and the positive results of the GR;T programme.
